Helping others has been my mission in life.
Life gives you many roles to play. In mine, I have been an advocate, a daughter, a mother, and a grandmother.
Family has been one of the greatest gifts God gives one.
Addiction lies to us and tells us the joy can only be found through it. But happiness is found everywhere, including in nature and with loved ones.
“And he took a child and put him in the midst of them, and taking him in his arms, he said to them, ‘Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me, receives not me but him who sent me.’”
Friendship is one of the greatest gifts God has to offer.
"Oil and perfume make the heart glad, and the sweetness of a friend comes from his earnest counsel"
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."
Welcome to a Place for healing and faith
Recovering Through Faith is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people recover from addiction, illness, and hardship through education, meditation and spiritual guidance. By creating a place with resources, including videos, articles, and personal experience, I seek to create a space where people in need can heal.
I believe that any human can recover, whether from addiction, mental or physical illness, or any life stressors through holistic healing centered on physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness, beginning with building a deep personal relationship with God.
